Volocopter, acquired by Diamond Aircraft (Zhejiang Wanfeng) for €10M in March 2025 after filing insolvency in December 2024, is launching Europe's first eVTOL sandbox program in 2026. Developing the VoloCity (2-seat air taxi, EASA certification target 2027) and VoloXPro (ultralight eVTOL, EASA certification target end 2026). Partnering with ADAC Luftrettung on emergency medical services applications. Workforce reduced to ~160 employees, headquartered in Bruchsal, Germany.
