About eVTOL.Travel

Building the Future of Urban Air Travel

We're creating the world's first comprehensive platform for booking eVTOL flights, connecting passengers with operators, and accelerating the urban air mobility revolution.

What is eVTOL.Travel?

eVTOL.Travel is the global directory and verified pre-reservation platform for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. We track 98+ vertiports across 15+ cities, profile 39+ eVTOL companies (including Joby Aviation, Archer Aviation, BETA Technologies, Wisk Aero, Lilium, EHang, and Volocopter), publish editorial coverage of certification milestones such as FAA Part 194 and the eIPP cohort, and operate the early-access waitlist that connects passengers to the first commercial routes when they launch.

Co-founded in 2024 and led today by Laxman Kafle (Founder & CEO), eVTOL.Travel is independent — not owned by, funded by, or commercially affiliated with any aircraft manufacturer or single operator. Editorial content is sourced from official FAA and EASA publications, SEC filings for publicly traded eVTOL companies, and direct company press releases. Corrections accepted at hello@evtol.travel.

Our Mission

Making Urban Air Mobility Accessible to Everyone

The urban air mobility market is projected to reach $1.5 trillion. Electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft are set to transform how we move through cities, with commercial flights launching as early as Q3 2026 in cities like Dubai, Tokyo, and Los Angeles.

eVTOL.Travel exists to bridge the gap between this transformative technology and the passengers who will use it. We're building the infrastructure layer that connects travelers with operators, maps vertiport networks, and makes booking eVTOL flights as simple as calling a ride today.

Our platform already tracks 98+ vertiports globally, connects 39+ industry companies through our marketplace, and has built demand intelligence tools that help operators understand where passengers want to fly.

Route Intelligence

3D route visualization with multimodal trip planning, comparing eVTOL vs. car, bike, and walking travel times across 50+ routes.

Vertiport Network

Global database of 98+ vertiports with real-time status tracking across 15+ cities, from Dubai to Tokyo to New York.

Demand Intelligence

Real passenger demand data that helps operators plan routes and launch cities based on actual market interest.

Our Approach

Data-Driven Urban Air Mobility

We're not just building a booking platform. We're creating the demand intelligence layer that the entire eVTOL industry needs to make informed launch decisions.

Prove Demand First

We collect real passenger interest data before flights launch, giving operators and cities the confidence to invest in vertiport infrastructure and route networks.

Connect the Ecosystem

Our marketplace brings together operators, vertiport developers, training providers, and technology companies into one unified platform for the AAM industry.

Go Global, Launch Local

Starting with confirmed 2026 launch cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Tokyo, and Osaka, then expanding to LA, NYC, Miami, and beyond as commercial operations begin.

How It Works

Your Journey, Simplified

Embark on a revolutionary travel experience with our eVTOL booking platform. The process is simple and efficient. Select your departure and arrival points, choose your preferred eVTOL model, and pick a convenient time for your journey. Once you've confirmed your reservation, head to the designated vertiport at your departure point, where eVTOLs operate from specially designed vertical takeoff and landing pads.

01

Select Locations

Choose your departure and arrival points from our growing network of vertiport locations across major cities.

02

Choose Model

Browse available eVTOL aircraft models, compare specs like range and capacity, and select the one that fits your needs.

Frequently asked

About eVTOL.Travel — direct answers

Can I book a flight today?

No — commercial passenger eVTOL service is not live yet. First US revenue passenger service is targeted for late 2026 (Joby in NYC, the FAA eIPP cohort in Dallas, Houston, Miami, Tampa, and Orlando shortly after). What you can do today on eVTOL.Travel is join the verified pre-reservation list for your city, and you are notified the moment commercial service launches there.

Is eVTOL.Travel a real airline?

No. eVTOL.Travel is an independent global directory and verified pre-reservation platform — we are not an airline, an aircraft manufacturer, or a Part 135/Part 194 operator. We track operators (Joby, Archer, BETA, Wisk, Lilium, EHang, Volocopter, BLADE, and 30+ more), publish editorial coverage of certification milestones, and connect passengers to the operators that will fly the routes when they go live.

How does the waitlist work?

You enter your email and your city or route of interest. Your sign-up is logged in our PostgreSQL database with double opt-in email verification. When a commercial route launches in that market, you are emailed first with launch details and any operator-direct booking links. Your seat preference is then matched to the operator that flies the route — eVTOL.Travel does not collect payment for tickets we cannot yet sell.

Who operates the helicopter transfers?

Helicopter transfers in the cities we cover are operated by independent licensed Part 135 helicopter charter companies — most prominently BLADE (which runs the legacy NYC, MIA, KOPF, KFLL heliport network) and regional Part 135 charter operators in each metro. eVTOL.Travel is the directory, not the operator. We list and link to the licensed charter operators in each city; the flight is sold and flown by the named operator under their own FAA Part 135 air-carrier certificate.

What data sources does eVTOL.Travel use?

All editorial content is sourced from official FAA publications and rule-makings, EASA filings, SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) for publicly traded eVTOL companies (Joby, Archer, EHang), direct company press releases, and verified industry reporting.
