EHang is the world's first company to receive type certification for an eVTOL aircraft (EH216-S). Based in China, EHang operates commercial autonomous air taxi services across multiple Chinese cities. Their EH216-S carries 2 passengers autonomously at ~80 mph with 30km range. Also developing the VT-35 long-range eVTOL for extended operations. Part of Shenzhen's $1.7B investment in 1,200+ eVTOL platforms by 2026 and Guangdong province's 100+ vertiport plan.
