Install the EHang Trip app (easiest for foreign travelers)

The EHang Trip app is the only English-friendly path. Scan a QR or use the link. You'll create an account with your email + phone — a foreign phone number works.

Or: use the Heyi WeChat mini-program

If you already use WeChat in China, the mini-program (小程序) is the fastest path. Open WeChat → tap the search icon → search 合意航空 → tap the official Heyi Aviation mini-program.

The QR on the left is a placeholder while we source the official WeChat mini-program QR. Until then, use the in-app search:

  1. Open WeChat (微信).
  2. Tap the magnifier (top right).
  3. Type 合意航空 and tap Mini Programs in the result tabs.
  4. Open the official Heyi Aviation mini-program.

Real-name verification (foreign passport)

  1. China requires real-name verification for any ticketed flight. Bring your passport with you to the vertiport — the Heyi staff will copy the details for the manifest.
  2. Inside the WeChat mini-program, you can optionally pre-fill your name as it appears on your passport (use the Latin alphabet exactly as written, including middle names). Skip the China ID number field — leave it blank as a foreign traveler.
  3. On the day of the flight, arrive 30 minutes before your slot. Vertiport staff will scan your passport at check-in.

Payment (RMB, via Alipay or WeChat Pay)

  1. Payment is in RMB only, inside the Heyi WeChat mini-program. Foreign cards do not currently work directly — you need either Alipay (with international card top-up) or WeChat Pay linked to a Chinese bank account or international card.
  2. Easiest path for foreign travelers: install Alipay before your trip, complete the international identity verification, and link your Visa or Mastercard. Alipay accepts the payment inside the mini-program seamlessly.
  3. eVTOL.Travel does not process any payment. All money flows direct from you to Heyi (EHang) via Alipay or WeChat Pay.

We don't process payment and don't collect passport data. The booking itself happens directly with Heyi (EHang) inside the mini-program.

Refund & weather policy

  • Full refund if Heyi cancels the flight for any reason (weather, mechanical, airspace closure). Refund processed automatically through the mini-program — usually within 3–5 business days back to the original payment method (Alipay / WeChat Pay).
  • If you cancel more than 24 hours before departure: full refund.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of departure: 50% refund.
  • If you no-show: no refund.
  • Weather cancellations are common — coastal southern China sees frequent thunderstorms in summer. Build a buffer day into your trip.

Getting to the vertiport

Qianhai Vertiport

Qianhai Cooperation Zone, Nanshan District, Shenzhen

深圳市南山区前海合作区 · 前海垂直起降场

Shenzhen Metro Line 5 or 11 to Qianhai (前海) station. From the airport (SZX), ~25 min by car. The cross-border route to Hong Kong departs from this vertiport — clear Shenzhen-side customs at the vertiport terminal before boarding.
