About SkyDrive
SkyDrive is a Japanese eVTOL manufacturer conducting demonstration flights of its SD-05 aircraft in Tokyo (Feb 24-28, 2026) at Tokyo Big Sight, marking Tokyo's first eVTOL demo. The 3-seat remotely piloted aircraft uses automated control systems. Production partner Suzuki Motor Corporation began manufacturing in March 2024. SkyDrive was the first company to fly a crewed eVTOL in Japan (2019). Targeting commercial launch by 2028 as part of Tokyo Metropolitan Government's eVTOL Implementation Project. Also flew at Expo 2025 Osaka.
