About AutoFlight
AutoFlight is a leading Chinese eVTOL developer that unveiled the world's first 5-ton class eVTOL "Matrix" on February 5, 2026, completing a public full-transition flight demonstration. Matrix carries up to 10 passengers (standard) or 6 passengers (VIP configuration) with amenities including lavatories — a breakthrough in heavy-lift eVTOL. Confirmed specs: 5,700 kg max takeoff weight, 20m wingspan, 17.1m length, 5.25m cabin length, powered by 20 fifth-gen lift motors in a triplane layout with six-arm structure. Range: 250km pure electric, 1,500km hybrid-electric. Also developed the Prosperity I, which set a 250km range record. AutoFlight combines lift-and-cruise architecture for urban, regional, and cargo operations. The Matrix targets lower per-seat operating costs than smaller competing eVTOLs.
