About Airbus UAM
Airbus Urban Air Mobility is developing the CityAirbus NextGen, a fully electric four-seat eVTOL aircraft designed for urban and suburban air taxi operations. The fixed-wing design features eight electrically powered propellers and targets a range of 80 km at a cruise speed of 120 km/h. Airbus is leveraging its extensive aerospace certification experience to achieve EASA type certification by 2028. The program builds on decades of rotorcraft expertise from Airbus Helicopters and benefits from the company's established global supply chain and manufacturing capabilities.
